This project involves two properties on the east shore of Dyes inlet, south of the Anna Smith bulkhead removal project. Also a final demonstration component of the EPA-Funded Kitsap Regional Shoreline Restoration Project, it would remove approximately 130' of rockwall bulkhead. The first phase includes a geotechnical feasibility report, followed by design and engineering. This project may or may not be funded through to construction under the EPA grant due to timeline constraints. Identified through a landowner interest survey sent out to property owners within priority sediment source reaches (Kitsap Sediment Source Analysis), the landowners are willing to move foreward with feasibility.
