The Nisqually Lead Entity works to promote outreach and education to share the importance of salmon recovery and habitat restoration, in and beyond the watershed's boundaries. Through a number of means, the Nisqually Indian Tribe and the Nisqually River Council continue to provide watershed education to children and adults, while offering opportunities for the community to participate in citizen-science programs, informing local businesses and landowners on the importance of preserving our natural resources, and celebrating the culture and history of the Nisqually people and the watershed.
