DESCRIPTION
The first phase of the project will restore spawning and rearing habitat from RM 5.0 to 6.0. Adding LWD to this reach will create habitat complexity, providing sheltering areas for spawning adults and rearing fingerlings. It will also reduce scour and assist in gravel bed creation and maintenance. This project will benefit Chinook as well as coho, chum, steelhead and cutthroat trout.
