DESCRIPTION
A property along the East Fork of Chimacum Ck that underwent stream channel modifications and riparian planting to improve channelized stream conditions (see also HWS project #02-05-047, EF RM 0.75 Riparian Planting and Fencing). Non-native aquatic vegetation was removed in addition to pools and large woody debris added, called habitat pockets. Such habitat pockets were restricted to the left bank so not to disturb riparian trees already providing shade and overhang benefits to the stream and riparian zone from the right bank.

There is also a conservation easement in place on this property reach. See HWS project ID # 02-02-007, C. Graves Conservation Easement-JLT for more information about that effort.
