DESCRIPTION
The Skokomish Tribe and Mason Conservation District implemented Phase II work within the project area of the Skokomish River Delta. The majority of the restoration work was completed under RCO project #07-1631 during the summer of 2010 with heavy machinery. This project applied site specific treatments to augment habitat functions at select locations. The work focused on restoring historic channel connections, removing creosote poles and hardware, installing LWD, planting the upland areas with native and culturally significant species, and documenting the as-built conditions through bathymetric surveying in the project vicinity.
