The Pacific Coast Salmon Coalition (PCSC) and US Forest Service are proposing to develop final designs that address a failing wooden embankment and fishway at the outlet of Morganroth Springs wetland. The evaluation of alternatives and selected design will be oriented towards a more permanent solution that restores natural conditions and processes and requires no maintenance. The design process will finalize preliminary designs already completed in 2019 that would provide fish passage for all species and life-stages while also maintaining or improving habitat conditions for rearing juvenile coho.
