DESCRIPTION
This project will take place on upper Pataha Creek, a tributary to the Tucannon River. The overall goals of restoration in upper Pataha Creek are to restore stream processes to improve spawning and rearing habitat for Snake River steelhead by increasing in-stream habitat complexity, floodplain connectivity, and riparian function through the placement of Post-Assisted Log Structures, Beaver Dam Analogs, and riparian plantings. The Pomeroy Conservation District will use grant funds to design and implement a in-stream habitat enhancement project over approximately 1 mile of stream length. Priority Species Supported is the Snake River steelhead.
