DESCRIPTION

Remediation of in-steam gabion structures that were placed in the stream illegally was undertaken. The gabions were removed and large woody debris was placed near the entrance of a spring fed pond which feeds into Salmon Creek. A hardened rock toe was installed down stream of the pond and the pond was enhanced for off-channel juvenile steelhead rearing.
