DESCRIPTION

Methow Salmon Recovery Foundation is working with Dept of Interior Bureau of Reclamation to investigate groundwater continuity across the floodplain and disconnected stream channels to determine feasibility of restoration potential through 2011. Future actions may address channel reconnection and addition of LWD to improve channel complexity. Four groundwater wells were installed. Riparian plantings were installed and maintained for riparian buffer establishment.
