DESCRIPTION

Puyallup Tribe of Indians and Pierce County-SWM are partnering to restore approximate 2.5 miles of Swan Creek from 64th Street downstream to Pioneer Way. Project will include bio-engineering techniques and engineered logjams. Invasive weed removal and riparian planting will also be performed. Improvements to salmon habitat and stream flow are anticipated outcomes. Channel Bank erosion will also be reduced.
