Acquisition and protection of a 20-acre property, that includes 7.9 acres of wetland and riparian habitat along Little Manzanita Creek. The stream is important habitat for cutthroat trout and coho. Approximately 7 acres of riparian habitat will be restored through invasive species management and planting of native species. The project will build upon previous work within the Little Manzanita Creek watershed which has already protected and restored almost 50 acres along the stream and estuary. This property and project area are adjacent to other land trust owned and protected properties.
