DESCRIPTION
This project will remove 60 feet of concrete groin, three creosoted wood piles, and scattered concrete debris to restore sediment transport processes and nearshore habitat along a high-priority segment of shoreline on the northern Kitsap Peninsula. The project is construction-ready, with the feasibility report, site plan, and permitting completed with support from Shore Friendly Kitsap. The project will improve nearshore habitat conditions for outmigrating juvenile salmonids, forage fish, and eelgrass beds.

A small amount of beach nourishment will be needed following the debris removal.
