DESCRIPTION

This project is located in the Wilson Creek watershed. This watershed was subjected to extensive development for housing, which has caused significant erosion and habitat degradation. This project focused on the removal of noxious weeds, such as English ivy, Scotch broom, and both the Himalayan and Evergreen blackberry; the landowners will also discard creosote logs, and plant native vegetation in the riparian zone as well as in the estuarine habitat at the mouth of the river.
