The project successfully removed two failing rock walls and replaced them with large woody debris. Boulders and concrete blocks that have fallen into the stream channel were also removed. The stream's center line was shifted to the north by approximately 5 feet. Slopes were cut back, and the banks were planted to reduce erosion and improve habitat. The noxious weeds and lawn grass were removed and replaced with native trees and shrubs to create a riparian area that will continue to improve habitat in the long run.
