DESCRIPTION

This is a fee acquisition of 81 acres of tidelands, under three ownerships, in Dugualla Bay. This expands upon 149 acres adjacent acquisitions and easements by the Whidbey Camano Land Trust, as well as Island County protected tidelands. Intertidal mudflats produce zooplankton and other small prey items that are eaten by fry migrant Chinook. This location is directly across from the North Fork of the Skagit River.
