DESCRIPTION
This project will restore fish passage to headwater wetlands and improve sediment processes (allow sediment transport beneath road crossing and reduce incision downstream of the road crossing) by replacing an undersized and perched fish barrier culvert on the west branch crossing at NW Newberry Hill Road.
This project will restore fish passage to headwater wetlands and improve sediment processes (allow sediment transport beneath the road crossing and reduce channel incision downstream of the road crossing) by replacing an undersized and perched fish barrier culvert on the west branch crossing at NW Newberry Hill Road. The goal of this project is to restore connectivity in the upper watershed of Little Anderson Creek and enhance habitat functions throughout the watershed. This project will benefit all species of salmonids in Little Anderson Creek.
