DESCRIPTION
This project has been completed by 50 hours of this private property owner's time on 150' of marine shoreline near Holly, WA. The landowner planted with diverse suitable native plants that will stabilize erosion concerns on a non-bulkheaded marine shoreline. The landowner recently completed a salmon enhancement project on their fish bearing stream and this project will increase that habitat for salmon. To continue to build the riparian area, a relationship has been developed between the landowner, Madrona Point Landscaping and Woodbrook Nursery.

Restoration: Elymus mollis (American Dunegrass) Fragaria chiloensis (Coastal Strawberry) Potentilla anserina, (Cinquefoil/Silverweed).

Project Sponsors: Hood Canal Coordinating Council/Marine Riparian Initiative

Funders: National Fish and Wildlife Foundation/Community Salmon Fund and the Hood Canal Coordinating Council.
