DESCRIPTION
The South Fork Coppei Creek is classified as a priority protection reach of the Middle Touchet MSA. Wild steelhead have been observed spawning within the reach. Currently there are several low water crossings in the South Fork Coppei Creek which cause disturbance within the stream channel when off road vehicles enter the stream channel for recreational driving in the stream channel. This project would work to put in place measures to prevent individuals from entering the stream channel from fords either by removing fords or other structures to prevent driving in the channel.
