DESCRIPTION
Fine sediments are routed from upland agriculture fields into salmon streams where it impacts salmon productivity. The conversion from traditional till agriculture to direct seed practices has greatly reduced sediment routed to the stream. This project will work with numerous farmers within 1 mile of Deadman Creek to aid them in the conversion to no-till direct seed practices. Activities would be supported through cost-share reimbursements.
