DESCRIPTION
This is one of three projects that will lead to unrestricted fish passage to 14 miles of quality spawning and rearing habitat for bull trout, resident trout, and steelhead. All three projects are located on Jim Creek, a tributary of the North Fork Touchet River in Columbia County. In this project on a Columbia County right-of-way, one undersized culvert (5 foot dia.) was replaced with a 25 foot long, pre-fabricated, modular concrete bridge. Columbia Conservation District provided an NRCS engineer and 50% of the engineer's cost.
