DESCRIPTION
Wild fire in riparian areas in many watesheds can have adverse affects on recovering salmonid populations. The Fire Wise Program has been developed to utilise land management pratices to reduce the extent and severity of wild fire in sensitive areas. The goal of this project is to utilize these BMP's and conduct restoration actions. This project is taking place in the Upper Pataha watershed.
