DESCRIPTION

The Kittitas County Conservation District (KCCD) proposes to work with the Cascade Irrigation District (CID) to address fish passage barriers at intersections of their canal with streams, as well as the unscreened diversion of their irrigation and stockwater rights from those streams. Final designs for the project are being completed as part of 19-1721, Yakima Fish Passage Targeted Investment Projects. Implementation of the project is the third ranked proposal on the 2021-2023 Brian Abbott Fish Barrier Removal Board project list.
