DESCRIPTION
THe Channel Migration Zone (CMZ) Site 11 was constructed summer of 2008. This site 11 is an 11.9-acre site located at RM 13.4 on the left bank (north side) of the Wenatchee River. This project involved excavation of a 550' foot long (40-60' wide) backchannel to create high-flow and overwintering off-channel juvenile salmonid refuge and forage habitat.
