DESCRIPTION

BOR designed and OCD implemented irrigation diversion improvements including new headgate on USFS land. The project includes livestock exclusion fencing and riparian planting. Methow Salmon Recovery Foundation provided adaptive management as the stream evolved with the new diversion and instream rock-step structures and continues monitoring for fish utilization, and riparian vegetation among other factors.
