DESCRIPTION
Install approximately 4 LWD structures along the inside bend; keyed into bank, 8-12 logs each; primary intent is to provide cover for juvenile rearing during low flows and holding areas during high flows; LWD structures will have a vertical height of several feet so that some LWD is near waterline and some is submerged during all flows; LWD structures will not project far enough into side channel to interfere with tubers; secondary intent: some LWD structures may provide pool habitat beneficial to adult salmonids.
