DESCRIPTION
Due to substantial public concerns expressed over the alternative analysis completed in 2014 (shortly after this project was funded), the project team had to take a step back (see narrative tab for additional information), develop improved analysis tools, and focus on substantial community outreach. These efforts have yielded positive results, although it has taken more time than envisioned when this project was originally funded. The following deliverables are provided with this project: Green LiDAR flight to secure bathymetry and topographic data Surface and groundwater monitoring throughout the Barnaby reach More robust hydraulic modeling and geomorphic analysis with expanded study area Existing conditions report Drainage analysis to evaluate flooding in the Martin Road area Sediment and groundwater analyses Preliminary design report for removal of Barnaby infrastructure as the first phase in restoration.
