Skagit River System Cooperative will complete construction of the Hansen Creek Reach 5 Floodplain
Restoration Project (16-1651) currently underway. Specific tasks will include installing 18 log structures in the restored
Hansen Creek channel and floodplain to improve habitat conditions, planting approximately 20 acres of native riparian
vegetation along the restored channel and maintaining the new plantings for three years.
