SFEG reforested approximately 2.5 acres of riparian area along the East Fork of Walker Creek. The project was done in association with a FFFPP project to replace a barrier culvert on the same ownership (see Osborn-East Fork Walker Creek R1). SFEG and Earth Corps prepared the site for planting by removing a dense stand of blackberries and other invasive weeds in the summer of 2015. Planting was funded by the Washington Department of Ecology's Terry Husseman account. Planting was completed via a community planting party, a student service learning project with students from Immaculate Conception Regional School, and by volunteers from the Skagit Valley College Environmental Club.
