DESCRIPTION

Skrinde Creek is a tributary of the Samish River located of off Grip Road in Skagit County. The Skrinde Creek Fish Barrier Removal project involved constructing a bridge to correct a fish barrier culvert. The removal of the culvert improved access to 1.01 miles of habitat for coho and sea run cutthroat trout and possibly steelhead. The existing 3 foot round culvert was replaced with a 40 foot bridge. Native plants where installed in the construction area.
