DESCRIPTION

The existing 60" CMP culvert has been designated a fish passage barrier (priority index 25.85) by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. The existing culvert is too steep for fish passage. The proposed correction is to replace the existing culvert with an 8-foot diameter 120-foot long culvert with internal weirs installed at 6% grade preceded upstream by a series of 12 log weirs to further control flow.
