DESCRIPTION
Clean dredged material from the Snohomish River was used to construct an 1800-ft long berm sheltering a mudflat lagoon on Jetty Island. Saltmarsh plantings and the sheltered nature of the lagoon created salmonid and forage fish rearing habitat.
