DESCRIPTION
Along Allen Creek, Bethleham Lutheran Church is working to; re-establish 4.4 acres of riparian native vegetation, exclude livestock from the riparian zone, install LWD, and remove 2.4 acres of invasive blackberry. Adopt A Stream is guiding the stream restoration effort with funding from the Washington Department of Ecology, CREP, Tulalip Tribes, and support from partners that include Snohomish Conservation District, Earthcorps and Sound Salmon Solutions.

Current site conditions:
Approximately 1000' feet of Allen creek flows through this property. In 2012 AASF restored 1.8 acres of riparian vegetation on the right bank. In 2013-14 AASF will to restore the 2.6 acres on the left bank, which is almost completely covered in blackberries and install fish habitat enhancement logs.
Project details: Cut down and grub the entire 2.6 acres on the left bank and plant it with native vegetation. Install up to 20 fish habitat logs.
