With this application we propose to complete final designs and permits for the downstream-most partial barrier to fish passage (the Wilkenson driveway culvert) and complete 30% designs for four additional full or partial fish passage barriers that exist upstream from the Wilkenson driveway culvert. The landowners have requested that WFC's team design and engineer solutions to fish passage and fish habitat opportunities on site. Deliverables for this project include 1) for the Wilkenson driveway culvert: engineer-approved shovel-ready project designs, construction cost estimates, and all the necessary regulatory permits required to implement the project; and 2) 30% conceptual designs for four other fish passage restoration projects upstream from the Wilkenson driveway culvert and construction cost estimates. Design plans and permits in-hand at the close of this project will be leveraged as match for grants from a variety of other funding sources in order to move forward with project construction.
