DESCRIPTION

Proposed project to raise a bridge near the mouth of Richardson Creek, a tributary to Lower Woods Creek. Since the bridge is in a depositional zone, the clearance has decreased causing it to become an almost complete barriers to fish passage. The project will allow the 3.9 miles of Richardson Creek to remain open to salmon spawning and rearing. As part of the barrier removal project, large woody material and riparian vegetation will be installed along 830 feet of the channel to the confluence with Lower Woods Creek. This project currently needs design and implementation funding.
