DESCRIPTION
The Hauff Property Acquisition and Restoration project would acquire and restore 6.28 acres at the mouth of Hylebos Creek. The project goals include acquiring the Hauff property in lower Hylebos Creek, conducting stream channel and riparian restoration, creating off-channel rearing habitat for juvenile salmonids, controlling invasive weed species and establishing native vegetation. The action would expand on a restoration/mitigation action conducted immediately downstream by Washington State Department of Transportation.
