DESCRIPTION
Puget Sound steelhead were listed as threatened in 2007.  Preliminary information suggests that steelhead are experiencing poor survival as they migrate through Puget Sound.  This project utilizes acoustic tags and receivers to track individual steelhead as they move through the lower Nisqually river, estuary, and Puget Sound in order to determine migration patterns and survival.  The cost represents what would be needed to run the program for the next 4 years.
