DESCRIPTION
All salmon, including Chinook and steelhead, that spawn in the upper Nisqually River and in Ohop Creek and the Mashel River must swim through the fish ladder at the Centralia Diversion Dam. In 2015, a counter camera was installed, providing invaluable stock assessment data. The Nisqually Tribe will use this data to track salmon escapement and composition above the Centralia Diversion Dam.
