DESCRIPTION
This project successfully created planting mounds along the stream banks. These mounds were planted with native vegetation that will stabilize the stream banks, treat stormwater runoff, and improve the quality of the stream buffer by replacing the invasive plant species. This stream is a tributary to Salmonberry Creek in Port Orchard. This project enhanced 1220 feet of stream and 1.72 acres of critical area.
