DESCRIPTION
The Mason County Conservation District agreed to sponsor this high priority fish passage project on a small unnamed tributary to Case Inlet, Puget Sound. The site had a three foot PVC culvert and two smaller overflow culverts which were replaced with a 50 foot steel bridge. It is upstream of the Johnson barrier which was also corrected during the 2013 construction season. Correction of both sites has restored access to 0.77 miles of habitat for coho and searun cutthroat and 48,883 sq meters of wetland/beaver pond.
