DESCRIPTION
The potential project is located in Oro Bay, Anderson Island. The project proposes to remove a timber/crib bulkhead and boat ramp to improve the beach and riparian connectivity. Another goal is to remove invasive plants and replant with native vegetation. This project was identified by the 'Strategic Identification of Areas and Projects for Nearshore Restoration throughout Key Peninsula-Gig Harbor-Islands Watershed, WRIA 15, Washington' report prepared by the South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group. These identified projects will be presented for funding consideration to the Lead Entity and other stakeholders.
