Oro Bay is primarily privately owned.
The potential project is located in East Oro Bay, Anderson Island. The project proposes to protect a beach and etuarine embayment from future development. This project was identified by the 'Strategic Identification of Areas and Projects for Nearshore Restoration throughout Key Peninsula-Gig Harbor-Islands Watershed, WRIA 15, Washington' report prepared by the South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group. These identified projects will be presented for funding consideration to the Lead Entity and other stakeholders.
