DESCRIPTION

The potential project is located within Rocky Bay, Case Inlet. The project proposes to remove a pile bulkhead and concrete pillows, a creosote platform and random creosote piles to improve beach and salt marsh habitat. This project was identified by the 'Strategic Identification of Areas and Projects for Nearshore Restoration throughout Key Peninsula-Gig Harbor-Islands Watershed, WRIA 15, Washington' report prepared by the South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group. These identified projects will be presented for funding consideration to the Lead Entity and other stakeholders.
