The Finn Creek Stream Team evolved as a sub-committee to the Hansville Greenways Association in response to a successful Parks acquisition at Norwegian Point, which includes floodplain for Finn Creek. The group will be conducting monthly and storm-event chemical and biological monitoring of Finn Creek in order to provide baseline data before a potential realignment/restoration of the final 1,000 ft. of the stream through the park. Finn Creek Stream Team will also provide residents with education about their watershed and encourage environmental stewardship and pollution prevention.
