DESCRIPTION
As a follow-up from a meeting between Race Lagoon landowners, Paul Menzel, Bruce Bottolfson and Penny Holland; Island County Salmon staff, and Whidbey Conservation District staff on October 2nd; Whidbey Island Conservation District (WICD) prepared a preliminary engineering assessment of the proposal to restore a larger tidal connection between Race Lagoon and the tidal channel located south of the beach road causeway.
