DESCRIPTION
Brazilian elodea, an invasie non-native weed, was discuvered in Lone Lake in 1996. The weed was likely introduced into the 101-acre lake by someone dumping household aquarium water and the plant into the lake.
The lake is shallow - about 20-feet at its deepest - and the elodea had infested a majority of the lake.
