DESCRIPTION
One of five properties transferred to local entities by WA Dept of Natural Resources in June 2007 as a result of efforts by the Whidbey Camano Land Trust. These 200 acres of mature forest at the headwaters of Maxwelton Creek are now a part of the South Whidbey Parks and Recreation District holidings and will be managed for local conservation and recreation purposes. Site master plan developed in fall of 2007.
