San Juan County was one of three locations in Puget Sound that were a pilot project to convert their recovery chapter to the Open Standards Framework (Miradi), which was completed in 2012. A product of this effort was developing an Adaptive Management and Monitoring Plan. Subsequently the Partnership funded further work which resulted in the Chinook Monitoring and Adaptive Management Phase I, Preliminary Monitoring and Adaptive Management Framework, completed May 2014. Further work is needed for Phase II, and funding was requested as an NTA with the National Estuary Program. Phase II is needed for the San Juan Chinook recovery chapter update to NOAA.
