DESCRIPTION
Perform a feasibility study in regards to wood waste removal in Deer Harbor, WA. The worksite is located just south of the Channel Road bridge on the eastern edge of the estuary. The goal of this project is to better understand the total volume and potential toxicity of the wood waste present on the property, and to use this information to inform a nearshore restoration design. Priority species of concern in this area are pink salmon, chum salmon, and surf smelt. A 10% project design will be developed by a licensed coastal engineer.
