DESCRIPTION
The Butler Creek culvert is located underneath the parking lot of the Pillar Point Clallam County Park property at the mouth of Butler Creek as it drains into the Straits of Juan de Fuca.  The culvert is located in the PYSHT HUC 10, WRIA 19 just to the east of the Pysht River, and near MP 29.7 on SR112.  This culvert was assessed during the Clallam County Culvert Assessment work completed by NOPLE staff and has been determined to be a fish passage barrier.  WSDOT is designing the replacement of the upstream blocking culvert on Butler Ck. underneath SR 122. WSDOT may replace the SR112 culvert in 2024, increasing the impact of replacing the Pilar Point Butler Ck. culvert downstream.
