DESCRIPTION
The project will design and construct the replacement of a Clallam County Road Culvert #80001331 on an unnamed Hoko River tributary and at MP 3.9 on Hoko Ozette Road. The culvert is 0% passable with spawning and rearing habitat upstream. The tributary exhibits good sinuosity, adequate spawning gravels, good riparian cover and large instream wood complexes. This is NOPLES 4th ranked culvert correction in the Pysht HUC 10. The culvert is located at the tributary mouth and the outfall drop spills directly into the Hoko River. Culvert replacement will open .31 Miles of coho salmon and steelhead spawning and rearing habitat.

Due to the proximity of the road and the crossing to the mainstem Hoko special consideration will need to be given to the interaction of Hoko River hydraulics with any new structure and channel. Culvert replacement will open .31 Miles of salmon and steelhead spawning and rearing habitat.
